Garden Rules

ü  I will pay a non-refundable fee of $40 (full plot) or $25 half-plot to help cover garden expenses like garden upkeep and garden repair if my application is accepted.

ü  I will pay a refundable deposit of $50. This may be returned once you have relinquished your plot and all garden rules have been abided too.

ü  I will have something planted in my plot by April 25th and keep my plot planted all summer long.

ü  If I must abandon my plot for any reason, I will notify the garden leadership.

ü  I will keep weeds at a minimum and maintain the areas immediately surrounding my plot.

ü  If my plot becomes unkempt, I understand I will be given ONE weeks notice to clean it up. At that time, the plot will be re-assigned or tilled in.

ü  I will keep trash and litter out of the garden plot, adjacent pathways and fences.

ü  I will have my plot cleaned out no later than November 21^st.

ü  I will not plant crops that will shade neighboring plots.

ü  I will pick only my own crops unless given permission by another plot user.

ü  I will not use fertilizers, insecticides or weed repellents that will in any way affect other plots.

ü  I will not bring pets to the garden.

I understand that neither the garden group nor owners of the land are responsible for my actions. I THEREFORE AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS THE GARDEN GROUP AND OWNERS OF THE LAND FOR ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGE, LOSS OR CLAIM THAT OCCURS IN CONNECTION WITH USE OF THE GARDEN BY ME OR ANY OF MY GUESTS.
